Quizzes play a significant role in the academic and personal development of students in school. They serve as an engaging and effective tool for learning, assessment, and skill-building. Quizzes encourage students to review and retain information effectively.Group quizzes encourage collaboration, communication, and mutual support among students. They teach students to value diverse perspectives and work collectively toward a goal.

The Inter-House Quiz Competition "IMPERIOQUIZ" was successfully organized at IMPERIAL SCHOOL OF EXCELLENCE on 7th September, 2024. The event, held in the school auditorium, was a lively and competitive display of knowledge and teamwork among the four houses:

RED HOUSE (KNOWLEDGE NINJAS) BLUE HOUSE (SHOOTING STARS) GREEN HOUSE (BRAINY BUNCH) YELLOW HOUSE (GENIUS SQUAD)

The competition aimed to encourage learning, foster a spirit of healthy competition, and promote intellectual development among students.

Teams from each house, consisting of four participants from class 9 to 12 competed in the quiz. The audience comprised students and teachers who enthusiastically supported their

respective houses. The event was graced by the presence of our honourable Director, Mr. Noor UddinSaifi, Principal, Mrs. E. Wilson, Vice Principal, Mr. Upendra Rai, Cordinators,and other distinguished faculty members.

The quiz comprised multiple rounds, including the General Knowledge Round — Testing the participants’ knowledge on current affairs, history, and science. The Rapid Fire Round — A time-sensitive round aimed at testing quick thinking. The Audio-Visual Round — \Incorporating videos, images, and sound clips for an engaging experience. The Buzzer Round —- Testing reflexes and the ability to answer under pressure. The questions were diverse, covering topics such as science, literature, history, sports, and entertainment.

The competition was skillfully hosted by Mrs. Shazia Khanam and Ms. Shweta Shalini, whose wit and engaging style kept the participants and audience captivated.

A close contest emerged between the Red House and Blue House, with only a few points separating the teams after each round.

The audience actively participated during interactive segments, further energizing the atmosphere.

After an intense and thrilling battle of wits, Blue House emerged victorious. The other houses also performed commendably. The winning team was awarded a trophy and certificates by the Director and Principal, who also applauded all participants for their effort and enthusiasm.

IMPERIOQUIZ was a resounding success, providing students with an excellent platform to showcase their knowledge, teamwork, and quick thinking. Events like these play a crucial role in fostering a love for learning and building camaraderie among students. The school looks forward to organizing more such enriching activities in the future.
